We started ConnectMyApps after working in the small business software market for many years and seeing the same problems over and over again…great companies had good software for different tasks, but because the systems didn’t talk to each, they wasted hours each week on needless manual processes, while management struggled to get a true picture of how the business was performing.

I’ve worked a long time in software, from sales to business development, but really I’m a geek at heart. I’ve been taking apart computers since the days of the Atari and ZX Spectrum (if you were an 80’s child you’ll know what I’m talking about) and still remember the thrill of coding my first highly advanced program – this involved making the computer go “beep”.
My two young daughters keep me busy in my spare time but fortunately I have a very supportive wife that doesn’t get taken out for nice dinners often enough.

I’ve worked in software marketing for most of my career except a few months after first moving to Norway, when I worked for a furniture removal company…if you saw my muscles, or lack thereof, you’d know how unsuitable I am for that. Sitting behind a desk writing blog posts is much more my style.
In my spare time I love travelling for weekends around Europe and also more adventurous trips or back to Australia to see family and friends. I love playing sport, and despite living near the north pole still play Aussie football, tag rugby and golf – badly!
